The Talisman

An old house in Karen turned into one of Kenya’s most loved restaurants — fine dining, house-cured salmon, and a room full of art collected over thirty years.

Elegance & Ambience

An evening made
of small details.

The Talisman is an old Karen house that never quite stopped being one — stained glass throwing colour across the walls, collected art in every corner, and lanterns coming on as the light goes. The food is cooked the long way round: herbs and greens from our own farm, salmon cured and smoked here over one slow fire, bread baked at dawn. What holds it together is a dedication that rarely announces itself, and a table nobody will ever ask you to give up.

Families are
welcome here.

Room for children to run while lunch stretches into the afternoon, and couches in the green for the grown-ups. Bring everyone, and stay until the lanterns come on.
